Submitting your own original content articles can be an outstanding way to promote your products and boost your affiliate sales. I wrote an article for my blog yesterday that took me 20 minutes to write and 30 minutes to submit to hundreds of content relevant websites.
For an hour of work, you will receive hundreds of backlinks, inbound links originally used for web navigation, but now ideal for SEO (search engine optimization) popularity or importance for page ranking. In addition you will get enormous traffic to your site that will additionally increase your SEO.
Getting Started:
I suggest getting started using your own Blog. For example, I write articles for my blog at http://www.angelachase.com. I then take the content and submit to pertinent article sites. I have found between 300 to 500 (but no more than 700) words is ideal.
We live in a society that is short on time so being considerate of your reader's time is crucial. If you don't have real content, your reader will move on. Additionally, if your content is consistantly rubbish, they will not read your articles or blog at all.
You can find plenty of free article submission websites simply by doing a Google search. Investigate each of the sites to ensure your content will be relevant. Once you have found a good site, sign up for the service and start posting!
"What if I can't think of anything to post about?"
NO WORRIES. There are plenty of websites that will provide you subject matter. For example, Aweber (a program I use to build my email lists) has reprintable content articles through their affiliate program marketing tools. Again, I refer to Google: Do a search for "free article web content" and you will find a nearly unlimited number of articles at your disposal.
Posting your article content to Article Websites
There are hundreds of websites you can submit articles to and software to help you submit to increase your efficiency and effectiveness. The key to article marketing is laser focused content and relevant content submission...you don't want to submit an article about dog immunization to a health website.
Not only will you not get any hits, you will likely be kicked off from submitting to the site in the future.
There are hundreds of ways to implement this approach and honestly, I have probably tried about 10% myself. I have finally found a complete Internet Marketing Solution and article submission is one aspect of the program.
